Closeburn Castle Ghost Hunt

Join Haunted Rooms at Closeburn Castle for a night of ghost hunting you'll not soon forget! This castle, dating back to the mid-13th century / early 14th century and nestled within 20 acres of the secluded Scottish countryside, is the oldest tower house in Scotland and one of the oldest continuously inhabited buildings in the country.

Scotland''s Gardens Open for Charity - The Limes

Extensive plantswoman's garden with many diverse habitats open for charity. There is an abundance of spring flowers in bloom at this time of year and a visit is highly recommended. The next open day is on 19th May.

 

Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival - 23rd May-2nd June 2024

An 11 day packed programme of world class theatre, music, dance, comedy and spoken word for audiences to enjoy across our beautiful region.

 

The Eden Festival - 13th-16th June 2024

Eden Festival - an independent, family friendly, 4-day festival celebrating music, arts and culture. The 13th edition of the festival takes places from the 13th to the 16th of June 2024 at the stunning Raehill’s Estate just outside of Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway. Showcasing both internationally acclaimed artists as well as local up and coming, from Folk, Soul and Electronica to Jazz, Rockabilly, World and everything in between. More than 250 acts over 10 stages, as well as plenty of cabaret, comedy, kids activities and workshops.

Wigtown Book Festival - 27th September-6th October

A ten day literary celebration in Scotland's National Book Town

Founded in 1999, the 10-day Wigtown Book Festival is now one of the UK's best-loved literary events. This year the programme has over 200 events and activities for all ages, including music, theatre, food and visual arts.
