A lovely space to relax and enjoy your break. Friendly hosts with great attention to detail. All the board games we played were in great condition. The escape room game was good fun and the theme was fitting.

Had a fantastic stay in this lovely cottage. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the house was warm and cosy. Hester and Paul were gracious hosts and did a great job of organising the escape room experience which was a lot of fun. There are hundreds of board games to choose from so a rainy day certainly doesn't hold up the fun! The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the surrounding area.

A Gorgeous Cottage in a Gorgeous Setting.
"There has been a great deal of thought gone into the way the cottage has been equipped and there is everything you could need during your stay.
It was extremely clean and very comfortable. Lovely bed linen and lovely fluffy towels.
Hester had gone to a great deal of effort and really had gone above and beyond to make sure everything was as it needed to be to meet all the requirements for the cottage to be Covid secure We felt very safe in that regard. I had been very nervous as I had been shielding since the start of the pandemic but was fully confident that everything was safe.
The views from the windows were superb and I spend ages just gazing out at the lovely scenery
Hester and her husband were extremely helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.
I cannot praise the cottage enough and have already booked to come back next year."

"Well equipped, warm, clean comfortable cottage in lovely peaceful location with scenic views. Delightful open plan lounge/kitchen with everything you could need. We were a party of four adults so the separate bathroom and shower room was a bonus. Few minutes scenic drive to Dumfries made it an excellent find. As it was Christmas loved the tree and selection of board games. Welcome tray much appreciated after long drive. Host directed us to excellent restaurant with ‘Vegan Options’ overlooking the river Nith, well recommended. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Hester".
